...actually his name was DINNER! J/K... They don't like to name the pigs coz it is pointless when they are consumed so shortly after they are purchased.

Yeah, you're right about that. When my ex was growing up in the province in Iloilo, they raised pigs and she took a liking to one of the piglets. She named it Osmena, after the president of the Philippines, and treated it like a pet.

She said she cried for days when they finally roasted Osmena for lechon. Once they fatten up enough, it’s on to the spit for someone’s birthday party :-)

I hope Febtember hangs on to Arnold for a while…
