My ex decided the other day to embroil me in another custody battle and it has consumed a lot of my time, so my apologies to all.

Hey Jody,

I'm sorry to hear about your ex messing with you. Does she know about your planned trip to China? Maybe she's trying to spoil your trip. My ex left me and my sons 7 years ago. I have primary custody...which really amounts to sole custody in our case. My youngest son had just turned 5 and my older son was 9 at the time. She's had minimal involvement with the boys over the years...until my new wife arrived from the Philippines...  My ex suddenly became very "interested" in EVERY aspect of my personal life. ( My ex even wanted to become close friends with my wife, who knew better. I've had to jump on my ex's case more than a few times. After 6 months, things are finally starting to return to "normal."

Yikes, custody battle, no wonder you are a bit quiet lately,
and no wonder you are going to china to seek a real woman.
    As for the question you posted about money spent on your trip, my trip was to the phils i stayed on a diving island and manila half the time each and spent about 30 a day on incidentals excluding hotel, the omtore trip  everything for 3 wks was 2200 including airfare. Next trip i will rent a condo instead, cheaper.
  As far as the trip to china the expenses i incurred  the phils im sure are totally different, so im not sure how to budget. I know the airfare currently in the summer is way higher than i paid in april. But hopefully that only lasts through the summer.
That is why i may fly courier this trip, saving me about 500 dollars , if you look on my travel page there is a phone number for the courier , Jupiter, air, and JOJO.

What do you mean by flying courier? Did you locate a very large pigeon?
as far as the current custody thing, she has already signed over primary to me but she wants to change it, not because she wants custody, but rather out of spite. My lawyer billed her 5K to make the addendum

courier is when you fly as an agent for the air travel courier,
go to www.courier.org, and check it out, i will try to fly for jupiter air in june but may just wait for early july
and pay 1100 RT,
    As for the custody battle, yikes , the attorney fees will eat you alive, unfortunately, there is so much animosity in divorces that it almost never is possible to avoid it, but to me attorneys are borderline evil nowdays
my sister paid i think about 15k to hers in her divorce.
thank god im not getting divorced.
