do I look grade school kid?

Hubby and I visit to one of the prehistoric site here in Illinois the Cahokia Mounds.It's an Indian site and pretty interesting because they have lot's of Indian Artifacts.The only tiring thing were climbing on Indian mound where they believed the Indian chief live on top of it and it's 100 ft.high.
When we visit there lot's of grade school students around some as tall as me.Hubby and I look on some Indian antifact.Hubby is in opposite side of the building.One elder woman ask me if what school we from since I was sorrounded by grade school kids.I was so surprise and ask her back"what maam?"so she repeat asking what's the name of school we from.My face turn red I know and told her I'm not a student anymore.She say sorry.So I hurriedly walk down to where my hubby is and tell him about the woman.He feel really funny.And told me maybe because I am as tall as the gradeschool kids there.I'm not sure if it's a complements on me or not.At least nobody ask my hubby if I'm his kids yet.I heared some especially if you go to some malls here or public place they ask the hubby if the filipina wife next to them were their kid.It happen to my sister in law twice when her and her american husband went to hockey games, a cashier ask her husband if she's his kid.And she tell me that it never happen to her only but to her friend as well at least her twice but to her friend 5 times.Do it's something funny or what?

Not with Vicky, but I have two daughters. Elder daughter is 4 years older and quite tall for a woman, while her sister is short and petite and when she was 14 she looked 9 (blossomed later).

When I took them out to eat, the waitresses often thought the elder daughter was the wife and the younger was our daughter. This would infuriate both girls but made me feel good about how old I looked.

People have no problem thinking Vicky is my daughter, unless they think we're perverts. We are generally arm in arm and if we stop for long she puts her head against my arm. Plus she flashes her ring set like a police strobe.

Your always posting funny posts to make me laugh hehehe
I think those people thought you were one of the Teachers or Parents of those children..I think their slang meant "What School are You the Teacher, and the children from". Well, about them asking if Pinay is his daughter, maybe he looks old enough to be her Father. I remember when I was with my much younger AW Pinay(16 yr age difference), people was asking if I was her Father, they weren't stupid...they knew good as well that she wasn't my Daughter..They were just making fun of us.....greg
