I was serious about your opinion on the best beach you have seen in the Philippines. I'm sure you've seen alot more than me and recently. I want to learn to dive also when we go to the RP in March. Any suggestion's? Prices? Please let me know.

If you want to learn to dive the best place to go is Moal Boal Cebu. They have the best prices and lots of inexpensive places to stay. It also has some night life going on so you won't get bored ;-) The beach is ok and there is very good diving on pescador Island just off shore. I think it's about P7000 for a one week course and Savedra Divecenter is the place to go.

As for the best beach Well... For me I like a beach not over run with tourist and good snorkeling. I'll have to think on that one. Is some night life a must or can you handle some place remote?  Hum

Hi Hum,

Thanks for the advice. Nightlife not only isn't necsassary, I'd rather not be around it. Those days are long over. Remote and quiet is best for this trip.

Thes aren't in any order because I can't decide which one I like the best lol.   White Island is just off shore from Camiguin Looking back at Mt Hibok Hibok volcano is very impressive. Panglao Island Bohol is nice with good diving the beach is ok lang but near by Balicasag Island has a really nice white sand beach with  great diving and snorkeling. Siquijor has some nice white sand Beaches Coral cay resort is a great place with a nice white sand beach
about a mile long but at low tide its a bit hard to get out to the reef. Not far from there is Apo Island one of the top dive sites in the PI (just take a day trip)

I had a really good time at Samal Island near Davao Paradise Island beach resort had a nice white sand beach with really good corals  huts where very nice p800 I would take it over Boracay anyday!  If any of those places sound good I'll give you more details. Being that there is over 7,000 island in the Pi this is A tuff question!   Hum
