Anybody Know How To Trace A RW E-mail...?

It seems now-a-days many ladies letters come from freemail forwarding services and have untracable e-mail services like mail.ru or rambler.ru etc.
I've been trying to help a friend of mine with some of his RW questions and his interest to meet a RW and he has received some letter returns from gals at free places like Free Russian personals but when he checks the headers of his e-mails for authenticity at sites like net-work tools.com there are no registerations available for the e-mail addresses and the origionating providers seem to always lead back to places like Moscow.
They never reveal the actual city of origionation making it impossible to tell if it is a scammer person or scammer agency from Moscow writing him or if is someone real from another city in Russia.
Especially when they write him and say they don't have a telephone...
Any you high-tech guys have a suggestion for his insecurity?
I've been trying to help him but this question is out of my league...

Hello Rick,

I use these method for control all the woman from my site... i control the IP from e-mail and from the log of server when they post the ads... and it is very easy...

First read the header... from below to up... the first IP you find is her IP...

By example :

Received: from [212.42.85.132] by win.mail.ru with HTTP;
   Thu, 10 Feb 2005 16:05:07 +0300

The valid IP is always between the [ ]... you can have something like this too :

10.1.54.28 via proxy [212.42.85.132]

Now, you have her IP : 212.42.85.132

The world is cut in 4 zone... one of the zone is europa and russia... use the database from http://www.ripe.net/whois

Type the IP and search... and you go find his internet provider ( the link between the computer and mail.ru )in this case, you have have find :

org-name:     UkrNet Ltd.
org-type:     LIR
address:      9, Leontovicha St.
address:      01030
address:      Kiev
address:      Ukraine
phone:        +380 44 235 8555
fax-no:       +380 44 234 8636
e-mail:       noc@ukr.net

And for the route :
descr:        UkrNet Ltd, Nikolaev
descr:        block 4 LL's

Perfect, my girlfriend is from Nikolaev...

But only big city have own server... if you have a result who give a other city, control is the city from your girls is in the same "oblast" ( regio )... when it is a other regio, become suspicious...

And in so case, ask her... i have know a woman who use the private network from her work, a international bank... and the IP have lead to UK... because the main server was in UK...

Maybe you can use Spam Spade ... download at http://samspade.org/ , it is free... he have "who is", header parser, reverse Dns, Ping, .... normal used for track spam but it is working for track RW... of other people
