reminds me

When I read on some reaction of Howards post about his annulment one post get my attention.It's Ray post about GRATED fine or course.
It reminds me of my hubby Boots jack.I thought his boot jack is a cheese grater.I never see boot jack before.Part of being a bachelor maybe he never know how to organize some of the stuff in his house.When I move here after the wedding I did organize some of the kitchen stuff and I notice the boots jack together with the baking utensils.I just leave it there thingking about it's part of baking utensils.One winter my hubby arrive from work and I was preparing food for dinner.One of the food I cooked need grated cheese so I get the boot jack and by that time hubby keep asking me if I see his boot jack I never recognize what's it look like.Before I start grated the cheese I was wondering why the cheese grater look different so I call my hubby and show him.Boy he was so thankful to see his boots jack and say it's not a cheese grater.Good thing I never start grating the cheese.I was really embarass, from now on everytime hubby arrive home instead of asking the Boot jack he keep saying where's the Cheese Grater.

It's a tool for taking your boots off. It's shapped kind of like the letter Y with a real long tail. You hold on to the tail and hook the heel of the boot in the fork of the Y and then push the boot off.

thing that holds up the mercruiser drive on my boat when I tow it.

But if I put it in my utensils drawer, I'd call it a meat hook!  Just keep it away from your crotch!  :-)

I'm really not a city boy, but more of a burb type boy scout with lots of experience living behind old dumpsters.  (i'll bet raquels hubby don't know what a dumpster is!  lol!)  

I absolutely LOVED the post!  (no explanations on this necessary - it makes me wanna change my plane reservations - aghhhh!!!!  Oh man, so cute!).
