I told Stephen because i'm not yet a mother so we will change it to Wife's Day. He really thought that he can get away with it (LOL)

Doan celebrated her first Mother's Day yesterday.
On April 23rd our darling daughter Maily (pron: my lee )
arrived 4 weeks early. She weighed 5 lb 7 oz .

They both spent about 10 days in hospital because Maily was quite jaundiced. I know it is quite normal, but as a parent it is stressful to see your child in an incubator with enough lights to illuminate a stadium on her.

They came home last weekend and we have had a wonderful time since then (so far so good )

I did everything around the house yesterday, while Doan put her feet up.

Yes, it is a true wonder to experience the birth of your child. Everything went according to the text-book.
No doctors...and no pain killers.   Doan is a legend!
My love and respect for her grows each day.

Maily is a beautiful baby (I couldn't be biased....could I?)
She's doing all the stuff babies do..like keeping us awake when we'd rather be asleep.  Making us wash nappies and dirty clothes too often.

Life's good
