Just got back from Cebu

I just got back from Cebu this morning. I went there so I could fill out packet 3 & 4 and go to Manila with Liezle for her medical. Things went pretty good at St Lukes (a lot of up and down flours) Papers were sent to the eambasy on the 5th of April. I called the 909 number they gave us to check status of Visa on the 11th. They told us it would take 10 to 14 days for processing, which we should have the visa from the 22 to 26th. I called back a couple days later and they told me it would take 3 to 4 weeks.  I then called back again a couple of days later and they told me it was taking anywheres from 1 to 3 months! (I quit calling) The people answering the phone I felt knew nothing. I was telling them more information than they were telling me. But because of work I had to return without Liezle. Has any one else herd of time frame in Manila? I also met Allen from Texas and he said they were giveing him the same time frames.

I have two friends one arrived last january with her fiancee and her took only 10 days after she send the paper  to embassy.And the other one arrived in Texas last april 2nd the same took 10 days only.I wonder why your sweetie visa takes too long.

Chuck,

They probably don't have any idea when the visa will be issued or even if it has already been sent out. They will just say anything that will keep you from calling for another few days or so :-)

I've heard about 3 weeks for recent visas from time of submission to date of receipt if there are no problems, so it may come any day.
