On my website under the Kiev city link we have alink to a webcam. Over the last 90 minutes I have been watching and cannot believe how the numbers have swelled, the number of people showing up at Indendence Square in the last 90  minutes is really impressive and growing by the minute.

Here is that link

http://www.1plus1.tv/video/camera.php

Last night "someone" turned the lights off so you could not see all the people and the tents from this same camera. The lights are on now, it's almost 6pm now and it's dark in Kiev. The lights could be turned off at anytime again I guess if the goverment does not want the world to see the great number of people who are gathering at this very moment.

The people of Ukraine have been cheated out of the man that the majority of the people voted for. We knew this was probaly going to happen but their is no way that Kutchma could have Yushchenko win without Kutchma going to prison. The army, the tanks, will be surrounding the presidential palace you can bet on that. Over 10,000 soldiers guarding the palace have been issued food and provisons for two weeks. Kutchma has no idea as to what could happen but he wants to have a force in place should it turn ugly, as it appears now that is the direction things are heading.

Floating around.  Kuchuma should be wary of that, his days are numbered.  I know I sure wouldn't want to be conscipt sitting in one of those tanks surrounding the palace.

I assume Russia will do what it has to in order to keep Ukraine in its "orbit."  I believe the people know that and will be reluctant to protest too readily.  I would expect the government to crush any sought of rebellion.  As long as flights from the US continue to flow back and forth I would expect women continuing to continue to seek Western men.  This should be a plus for you!  Do you agree?

Hockeyguy I stopped accepting clients into Kiev after November 19th. I have no clients in Kiev today or for the next several days thank goodness.

Their could be a revolt, how serious no one knows. When the run off was announced to be on Novemebr 21st I knew some bad things could happen if Kutchma tried to steal the election.

This will be a set back to Ukrainian democracy for several years if Yanukovych is put into power against the will of the people.
