I'm thinking of going to Cancun with my wife. I was told as our paperwork is not done that in order to go through Houston she'd need a transit visa. DOes anyone know how difficult it is for a Uke to obtain one? We are currently awaiting Packet 3 of our K3 visa.

I understand a visa in Mexico is hard to get, if you find a way to get one for your wife let me know.

Will do. It appears I'll have to go to the MExican consulate myself next month when I visit.

Going there is one thing but how about coming back?
Does the U.S. passport control let your wife in while her green card is still pending?

He's clueless, as usual. He asks about a US transit visa without knowing his wife has about a snowball's chance in hell of even getting a Mexican visa. Ain't gonna happen, Latino heritage or not. I know this because of how the DOJ interacts with the Mexican gum'mint. He needs to learn how to wait, to sit and spin, just like everyone else.

...it's the man from Santa Cruz. Hows it going down there? That fog will make anyone crazy in short order, it's almost as bad up north. Everytime I go into Monterey they send me out over the ocean just on top. Gives me the heebee geebees to be out that far, that low.

I call 'em as I see 'em. Fwiw, I've appreciated your levelheaded and thoughtful viewpoints on "another" board.

Hey, is the Paradise Bar still there in Capitola? Been years but man, I've got some fond memories of that place...
