For the folks in the gallery, me and Rags hung out at the McDoanlds/Metro station (center of the universe in Kiev) it seems like. Or a good meeting point.
Anyway we stood out there close to 2-3 hours waiting along with hundreds of other folks, not quite as many people in this photo, but of course for many it's was for the novelty of it all.
Wow, that was in June of 2001.
