If you're just getting started and would like to meet some FSU women via chat, I recommend you download Odigo (
www.odigo.com). It's similar to Yahoo messenger or Windows Messenger, but seems to be popular among FSU people.
My Ukrainian girlfriend has it on her work PC so I installed a copy on mine and the highlight of my day is chatting with her each morning. I had to change my profile (I registered as an American man) because strangers were messaging me and I'm not interested in meeting other women. Be forwarned, however, that you'll get plenty of messages from Arab men--I'm not sure of their intentions since I never responded. And now my profile says I'm a 65 year old Nordic woman, so no one bothers me
