Major disappointment when you hear her talk, she sounds like a Americanized chick.

But, record the show and when you play it back, turndown the audio and just watch that trim little figure bounce around on the court.

For those guys that married a EE girl, about how long does it take for that russian accent to wear off - in terms of years ??

My point was for the people who may have never heard or seen a russian girl speak! This was a good chance to maybe have a sit down with her and the "donald" maybe hear about her backround.Undertsand what some russians think and speak, maybe get a undertsanding!
Grant it alot of people may not like The "donald" but
since he loves the eastern bloc states,a great chance of a education. There will be a chance of her speaking some words in russian.Ps: she will be going to a popular part in NY called brigeton beach Its in brooklyn(its russian) 90% russian making up all of the fsu.The sterotypes, the whole stigma attached to being russian in post cold war america. Not to mention, since she is on the show and its based in NYC
she and the donald or the groups will target the russian area of NYC
The will make it a Point to Target the russian community.Since there are (2) Teams a make up of maybe 8 or 9 now on each time or less,Just maybe one will bring up the whole "mob"?
I just found this out recently, and thats the reason why i didnt post that before. For someone whom just started and doesnt know how to go about this
Maybe this show will give a tad bit of insight of a russian yes americaized Now But never the less, something to get a feel for.
When I started I searched everything I could on russia,I saw shows watched weekly newscraodcast on PBS From russian, and Like the italian stations have "rai" There is russian stations that broadcast nightly news to learn
even if i didnt undertsand,i somewhat got a feel.Maybe even a education
If nothing else comes out of this for most, maybe it may help someone new!
Thats why i thought this was a realtive topic.

...Pray tell why exactly that is "realtive?" That today is the anniversery of the launching of Sputnik make that realtive also? What does an uninspiring looking Russian tennis star have to do with MOB? Sorry, I don't get it.

Btw, do you actually watch that crap? Trump and his mindless corporate automatons are enough to gag a maggot, they represent all that's wrong with American business morals today. Not to mention how the popularity of such televised drivel reflects on the intelligence of the Amercian populace in general.

Just my opinion, fwiw.

I would think Anna K's appearance on The Apprentice is relative to the MOB experience, because it is possible that she will display a bit of her personality during her episode on The Apprentice as opposed to just the photos or simple sound bites you typically get of her.  LP, for someone with your level of experience with Eastern European women I could see how Anna K. doesn't have anything to offer you, but for the newbie or someone who is still evaluating the whole MOB thing it is often stereotypical role models that are looked at first and Anna K. seems to be that for many Eastern European lovers.  I know on the Latin board where I hang my hat most of the time, several guys mentioned that it was Salma Hayak that first turned them on to Latin womem.

As far as The Apprentice goes, I agree with your assessment of American business morals to a large degree, but I find The Apprentice interesting to watch because it gives me a bit of insight into what makes up the movers and shakers of business and how their values diverge from the average person.  This past week for instance, the person who got fired was a woman who has been extremely successful in her career thus far and yet her moral compass was so off that even Donald Trump saw it and said it was an easy decision to fire her.  It was quite educating to see this whole process for me.

In the name of everything holy, I hope that this show never makes to the FSU.  The last person we need as an American role model is a self promoting, ego-toxic, dolt with a bad comb over.

should not be compared to the "average" RW by any means.

However,if you enjoy watching beautiful young RW gals or any beautiful young foreign gals for that matter and get off on their cute foreign accents...

Anna is worth watching because I'm certain she is a lot of what many younger RW are envying about their own personal lives. There is probably a good hidden message inside how she presents herself...

It'd be interesting to see how she speaks of her motherland, what she feels about USA and the rest of the world (if it happens) and probably even more interesting to watch and learn what makes her and these RW tick...

Definetly related to MOB...

A fox? You gotta be kidding. As they say, I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. And if she's not to be compared to the average R/W "by any means" then how will she help in learning what makes R/W tick? (As if that's difficult to begin with). And it takes more than a cute foreign accent to get me off.

But ok, fair nuff. I suppose it's more relevant than some of the stuff I see posted here...

So what exactly is her "talent"? I gotta agree with LP, Kournikova has nothing to do with "typical" Russians. I don't know about envy but a lot of the Russians I know dislike or hate her. They figure she's the epitomy of what's bad with Russia. The only thing average about her is her looks. I've had my aquaintances ask me what was so interesting about her that Americans are fascinated with her. I didn't know either. Guess this could be your lesson in watching her, what not to look for in a mate.

She is a rising star in her country while she's out playing tennis and makin good money.  Everybody else back home in Russia is busting their chops workin for pennies on the dollar.

It's that ole'wealth effect logic.
Nobody like to see their neighbor get ahead of them.  Especially if their having fun doing it.

The real irony, her Tennis game appears to be going down the tube, but her looks are what's keeping her popular.

Plus, there is a huge onslaught of Russian & Eastern European girls that are hot on her heels to replace her as the current tennis diva.

Now that she cannot even play tennis, she is famous for being a celebrity.

Hadn't heard. Guess she's improving. I don't follow tennis but I think Shapirova is the one to watch.
