Can I have a sober flight attendant?

I heard this on the radio.  A man was flying on an airplane in Russia and the flight crew was drunk.  He asked one of the flight attendants if he could talk to a sober flight attendant.  The flight attendants got angry with him and then beat him up.

Don't let this happen to you.  Accept your flight service, drunk or not.

There are many pilots who don't understand English well. This causes peril among air controllers. Some airlines admit this shortcoming and make sure that either the captain or co-pilot is an American, who handles communication with the control tower when approaching or leaving the U.S. soil. The worst is said to be FSU airlines. It was reported a few years ago that a Russian pilot simply ignored the air controller and took off at Kennedy IA. A Russian Kamikaze? Fortunately his plane missed the Twin Towers.

This was on one of the cbs, nbc, or abc news last night and said that all the flight crew had been suspended.

For a Russian airline, Aeroflot sure doesn't live up to their country's reputation.  I got a glass of wine shortly after the flight took off, and that was all the alcohol they served for the entire flight!

I once had a flight attendant on NWA, who splashed a glass of water on me while walking on isle. I told her what she did but she didn't even apologize. Two years ago a big Dutch guy, at least 6'6" and 270 lb, took a seat behind me. He locked his knees against the back of my seat. I tried to push it back a little. He "ordered" me to stop. I wrote to KLM later that they should move such a big passenger to the first row so that both the guy and the passenger in front of him get some relief. He was actually stupid not to ask for the front seat. Or, maybe, he was SM and enjoying the situation?!? When you travel a lot, you encounter all sorts of difficult situations, man made or natural. After travelling a lot, 57 countries and counting, I have learned how to endure and survive.

Romachko, my knees hit up against the seat in front of me. When the person in front of me tries to put their seat back, like you said, it doesn't budge. Their is nothing that guys like me or the dutch guy can do about it if the bulkhead seats are taken. I try to get the bulkhead seats just for this reason but am not always able to.

Regarding having a sober flight attendant,....I'll drink to that!
