After more than a year's hiatus from the board, just wanted everyone to know that my fiance's K1 was approved through TX today.  Submitted January 15.  Our relationship is now in it's third year (since we started writing initially), it hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it.  Yeah Bobby, same girl you met in NSK at Akademgorodok.

Congratulations!  Texas sure is slow.  I filed a K1 for a girl I met the end of last October.  My timeline through Vermont was March 2 received at Vermont - middle of April approved and to NVC - beginning of June approved through NVC and sent to Moscow.  Her interview is scheduled for the first week of August.

I a small amount of vacation time so I flew to Moscow and went to a small city I had been before called Tver.  It is a city that many guys go to looking for a wife.  In general a guy needs to do what you did ie. go to Siberia to find a really beautiful women with equally good character - but I believe I finally got lucky.  Only time will tell if both you and I did indeed make the right decision.
