Since Dnepropetrovsk is close to Krivoy Rog I know that it is too long for me.  You leave in the evening and get battered all night on a small cot because the train lurches back and forthe and from side to side so much.  I am 6'2" and that means there is just enough room to move to that my head bangs against the wall all evening.

For my money I would fly.  More expensive and just as scary but shorter time.

Just my opinion.

You have two options, regular train and express train. There are two express trains daily, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. By the time most guys who want to go to Dnp get into Kiev they will take the 5:30pm express train. Get's into Dnp at 11:30pm. Cost about $12.

Then you have the regular train. Most guys will take the overnight train. Leaves Kiev about 10:20pm and arrives into Dnp about 8am next morning. First class sleeper berth is about $27.
