Ok
here's 2 more myths , one i found to be true, one not.

1)The soda, coke etc in the phils , is all flat, not like that in the usa.

Who told me this i dont know but i heard it from many guys, I found this to be totally false, its just like the soda in the usa, especially if it comes in a can.

2) The bathrooms have no tp,

Well, the one in my hotel room did, and if it ran out i assure you i called for more. However, much to my surprise many of the public restrooms did not furnish it. and i was shocked and somewhat in a
bind several times, once at a huge tourist resort the lady handed me
a bucket with water in it, hmm wat am i supposed to do with this, you cant be serious.
Lol thats the phils for you
always an adventure.

As for the TP its expensive to buy for filipno's also there's is like sand paper! lol   As for the water well most places in the world just use water not TP. I never could figure out how you dry off? Most of us kano's just aren't use to touching our A hole's! lol

We got in the habit of bringing "tissue" with us whenever we left the house.  What really amazed me though were the number of toilets with no toilet seat.  Just the toilet bowl with the seat long gone.  Took a little while to get used to.

I suspect that would be tough for a guy in your situation. That's not too unusual in Mexico also, and so long as you're able to "hover" it's workable but not so pleasant. Give me the comfort of a hotel room with my morning paper any old day.
