I am getting ready to leave for Kiev (and eventually Cyprus) this next week. As usual there are a thousand things I need to do before I leave.
Anyway, I was talking to Lena on the telephone. She asked me what I had to do today. I told her about the things I needed to do in regards to getting ready for my trip.
When I told her about taking my dog to the vet for his annual vaccinations and teeth cleaning she did not believe what she had heard. She suddenly started speaking with her son in Russian. I assured her she had heard me correctly in regards to the teeth cleaning. I think I would give almost anything to have seen her face at this moment.
