I originally ran a newspaper ad in multiple papers and cities. I
included a dedicated email address as well as an american po
box.
First time i ran the ad no responses at all. I contacted the
agency and they said there must have been a problem and re
ran the ad. Got many responses, some obvious scammers,
many boilerplate responses, several sincere ones that did not
meet criteria and one soulmate.
Had my ad not needed to be re-run we never would have met.
Fate or Luck have their role in the process too.
