thanks for the update all...let me do my latin explorations/travel this month and get back to yu. i might want to explore this further - i think attractive, sophisticated woman can be found in latin land but may want to explore this FSU thing further when i get back. seems just a tad more complicated - would need some advice on how to go about it. Muchas Gracias! (not sure how to say that in FSU)

Proper pronounciation is phonetically spelled spaciba bolshoi.  At least for the Ukrainians.  Maybe different for Russian but not according to my Anna.

I've had a LOT of fun with Latino women. I toured with Jennifer Pena last year & was going nuts. Then quit & went to Ukraine within 5 days & within a week of quitting I was engaged to a Ukrainian lady. My wife LOOKS like a Mexicana big time. Well I should say like a Latina. Morena, jet black hair, facial features....except she's Ukrainian. I would have gone to Colombia but most of the girls did not interest me & the ones that DID were on suspect agency lists. THe MExicana's I fell for all were either taken or not interested. I've had great luck with Mexican women due perhaps to my long hair & leather. They say I look like either FHer from Mana or Alex Lora (yikes!!!) afrom El Tri. I'm a real babe magnet in Mexico!! LOL!!! SEriously I just could not find one that wanted to marry all of them just wanted to bang & party & that we did.

that after walking down Kreschatyk street in Kiev I nearly had to wear a neckbrace from whiplash. The Ukrainian women were GORGEOUS!!!!! I guess they couldn't handle my Latino hear in Lugansk I had a blast. AFter things did'n't work out with Marina I had literally my pick to choose from all the ladies that wanted to go out with me. Several I went out with for several nights. I should have done one every night instead but oh well. I think the Ukrainians were overall more appreciative than the Latino women I've met. They treated me like a king. They are also by far, from what MY experience, more educated & prone to some intellectual conversation. My wife will sit & talk about politics, science, art, poetry, music, & theology with me. I only knew ONE Latina lady who did that & it didn't work out between us (the usual like me like a friend). If I COULD have I WOULD have married a Latina I just didn't find the one. Having said that my ex wife IS Latina however I would consider her an AW. My wife said she was going to "kill me a Mexican biatch!!!" when I told her I went to a club & Mexican girls were coming up to me & playing with my curls. ;-)

Hey Papi, I've read your posts on the Latin side and if your're curious or don't have any particular loyalty to Central/South America, you owe it to yourself to at least go on a tour to the FSU. I was married to a Russian for 7 years (bad girl, but VERY attractive, intelligent, talented...) and I have been engaged to another (twice!). I have 2 close friends, one just married to a lady from Belarus and another engaged to another Belarusian. My first tour was to Cali with TLC. Of course they are lovely and wiggly.  The following Spring I went to St. Pete with the Anastasia agency. I've also returned on another tour to Panama City and Cali again. I've already been busted on the Latin board for these opinions, but a trip to the FSU is a real eye opener. GENERALLY better educated than the Latinas, more variety, seriously more charming. Of course travel is more difficult, as is the language. A Latina's acclaimation to the US will be easier. You can visit a LA lady more often. But...and I generalize again, if you experience the charm, looks, sense of style, (usually) lovely accent of a FSU woman, you are likely to be hooked. A little walk on Nevsky Prospekt in St. Pete in June or July will astound ASTOUND you. As I said on the Latin board, comparing the ladies in Cali with those in St. Pete is like sending your hometown champion to the Olympics. But the cost, time, and maybe risk of problems are somewhat higher. BTW, even though I just returned from Cali on another visit, and will go to Barranquilla in May, I am REALLY looking foreward to going to the Ukraine in August. And of course my former fiance from St. Pete called yesterday after several months. (sigh). Look around, Papi, you have nothing to lose!

yu sound like a very educated man in these matters...i appreciate your comments. i hear what you are saying about the education thing...i'm off to Bogota manana. i get the impression that the woman there may be a little more sophisticated than Cali, BAQ, etc. However, i hear what yu are saying abt being amazed walking the street over there and probably would go nuts in the FSU. good advice...maybe we should hook up on your adventures.  Chao amigo

FSU women aren't better or worse than Latin women or Asian women. It all comes down to personal taste and preference.
However in my humble opinion all three of these types of women have it over their American sisters.

I'd be happy to talk to you more at length about my adventures. I've dated only FSU women for the past 6 years. I've been to Russia 3 times and Ukraine twice.  Originally married to a woman from Moscow for about 2 years. We parted amicably as we just discovered that we were too different to be married to each other.  I learned a lot from this experience, and I'm now married to an absolute angel from Ukraine. If only every man could be so happy.  Email me and I'll pass on my phone number to you.

Your opinion.

I think many FSU women are very beautiful, but their culture has been one of fear for many decades because of Communism and thus they are not as friendly and social as Latin women.

Culture, class and breeding are most definitely things that would have to be applied on a case-by-case basis as many, many Latin women have it and I am sure there are many FSU women that don't.

I'll concede the first point re: friendliness, but I respectfully disagree about culture/class. One of the few benefits of Communism was the ability to obtain free schooling. In my 4 yrs. of writing to Russian/Ukrainian women, I'll take a (wild) guess and say I've corresponded with several hundred women, and maybe 1 in 30 didn't possess an advanced degree. Many had several. Part of my attraction to these women is their widespread love of culture; opera, ballet, classical music, and literature are common passions.

As for being not as friendly, I'd guess it's more an aversion to public displays of friendliness. My Ukrainian GF and I spent a week in Prague this past December, and I noticed that people rarely looked me in the eye on the street and it was rare to see groups of Czechs laughing or enjoying themselves in public. A local woman explained to us that it's a lingering vestige of the Communist era, when people did all they could not to stand out in public and attract the attention of the police. But in private I found the Czech people to be extremely warm and friendly.
