Go to a ring store, buy a new setting with nice stones. Go to a used stone seller who buys older stones. Buy a SI -1 and have it set. She will love it and you will have done it for a 70% discount on new.

We bought it in a little shop in Kyiv.  We put on a show while in the store: at the time she kept saying it was too expensive and was pulling me over to the zirconias, I kept pulling her back over to the diamonds.  I insisted on buying her a diamond ring, not merely a zirconia.  Hmmmm, but then again, she is from Lugansk.
