 I find your post most interesting. I did not know all the things that I have learned about Filpinas as wife's in the last few weeks. I have been writing to RW for some time, but have been reading the post here. I want to thank you for your words here. You have helped me make a very important dcision in my life. being devoted and loyal - I can't even imagine "submissive".  It just seems so foreign and impossible - even cruel.

I remember a few years ago a church meeting where one of the younger ladies from the church explain how women should be allowed to deal with their lives.  Men always want to "fix it" but women then feel like they are being controlled when we do.  Most of the time its just better to let her discuss her options with you and then agree with her choices.
