... in response to Jack when is your Spring Party in Dallas..., posted by wsbill on Feb 21, 2004Wild Bill, on Saturday, May 1st we will be having our 8th annual Texas men's appreciation for Russian women Bar-B-Que and May Day celebration. Last year I think we had 40-50 married and/or K-1 visa couples, about half a dozen single men and a few single Russian ladies. This year I know of two ladies on student visas from the University in Denton and one lady from a university in east Texas who will be attending. Will start at about 11am and run until whenever, sometimes 5pm, sometimes 7pm.
For any of you single guys from North Texas who are seeking a Russian bride, this is a good networking event. Meet couples who might live close to you, exchange numbers and when your fiancée get's here you might know of another Russian lady, or two, not to far from where you live. Some couples and individuals from various cities thru-out the state, as well as nearby states, usually show up as well.
In July or August we will have our 5th annual Galveston beach party. Every year it seems we have a few more couples going and meeting old and new couples from the Houston area and spending the day on the beach.
You guys in different parts of the country might want to think about trying to meet, to begin networking, with other couples in your area. Start our with a basic cookout. Maybe there will only be 3, 4 couples who make the first get together, maybe 7 or 8 the next get together and so on and so on. My experience has shown me a network of sincere, good, Russian ladies can be quite helpful to Russian ladies just arriving.
