Trip Report part 1

Just got back Monday night from Ukraine. I am now married to a lovely 19 year old, raven haired beauty I met courtesy of Jack & First Dream.
A little history. 2 years ago I started my search for a wife. I made my first trip to Ukraine (Lugansk) November of last year. I visited one Marina Izvarina or Vega Agency whom I had corresponded with for one year. VERY beautiful girl. Really WAY too beautiful for me. Jack had told me Vega was a scam agency & he was right. I have to report her & the agency to the black lists. Basically it was a waste. I got screwed. She didn't even show up to meet me at the airport. The agency rented me a flat & I had to pay for the interpretor & driver. All whom would join me & Marina in our outings & whom I had to feed every night. Marina went out with me 4 nights then "disappeared". I didn't buy their bogus story about her "disappearance". Supposedly an ex boyfriend found out an American was their courting her & proceeded to beat her to a pulp. I saw the day before I left she appeare fine. In any case I was out well over $4,000. Expensive experience. It was also my WOVO experience. I did meet with another girl Alina who had written prior to Marina. 2 nice dates but she was too young & not serious. Not realistic at all. I went out with 3 other girls & one I met at a party who as pretty wild & raunchy (not bad!).
In any case I found out I was attractive to many of these ladies. Not sure if it was the fact I looked different or what but I felt my oats in terms of scoring with a girl (scoring in terms or marriage not sex).
My friend Victor from Lugansk suggested if I was serious about pursuing a WIFE in Ukraine I should visit the nearby villages where the "real Ukrainian ladies live" whatever that meant. In any case he informed several of his colleagues about me & before I knew it had several aunts, uncles, mothers etc wanting me to meet their pretty ladies. I met with ONE only & she was nice but it was not "right". I kept his comments in mind though.
I then went to Kiev where Galina from First Dream took me out to meet some girls. I went out with 2 if you can call it going out. First one was a beautiful 22 year old blue eyed raven haired beauty with 1 child. Big mistake, too American. What kind of car do I drive? What kind of house do I have? Do I like Audis? What bands to I play with & how much do I make? What conservatory did I attend? Turned me off big time. Second girl was a Shakira look alike who was REALLY nice. I was VERY tired & I think I came across wrong to her. I was planning on meeting her my next trip. Didn't happen.
Upon returning I decided to run an ad with First Dream. I decided to let the girls write me instead of me writing them. I initially wanted ladies only from the LUgansk region & perhaps Kiev & only because I was VERY familiar with Lugansk. Jack advised me against it & I will be forever grateful for that.
I sent several pics to Jack who very honestly told me they were bad. LOL!!! He wanted a pic of me in a suit or a jacket or at least a tie or something. I informed him the way I look is the way I look. If a girl was going to like me she had to like me as I was. Warts & all (figuratively speaking!). I don't like putting a pic a me where I look nothing like I really do as I have heard horror stories from GIRLS who have had men send pics of them 10 years younger, with hair & 60 pounds less so opted against that. I put all the pertinent info on there. I'm a musician, own my own home & car, love cats (a biggie I was to find out!!!), like brunnettes, I'm a Christian etc. I always like to put my negatives first & figure whoever STILL writes MUST be serious. I would not change a thing in how I ran my ad though Jack thought I could have garnered perhaps as much as twice the number of responses. This was in February when I rad my ad. Will continue....
