I just got back from Tver, Russia last night.  I used the services of Be Happy agency.  I did have a great time, met alot of beautiful women and recommend this agency for a guy who wants to use a full service agency a short drive from Moscow.  The best thing about Be Happy is that they are hungry.  They want to recruit women.  They want to do things right.  They want customers coming over.  If they treat everyone like me, they will get alot more customers.  Tver, although not the height of Russian civilization, is a nice enough town, with excellent nightclubs, a super circus and most of all, alot more women than men.  Now they have an agency that is making a recruiting effort to meet sincere women of Tver looking for a Western bride.  I met 24 out of 25 women.  I settled on two that I will correspond with over time.  I suppose I really should just count on one, but I am giving the other girl a chance to see how time develops with her.  Both are really good girls.  One is really too young at 22 speaking no English.  Both have no children.  The other girl is 24 and divorced speaking fluent English.  Both are pretty.  The 22 year old is prettier.  Anyway, this is a viable possibility for you guys interested in travelling to Russia over Ukraine.  I suggest staying for longer than 10 days to really make a relationship flower with someone.

How many of the 24 girls you met in Tver did you personally correspond with prior to meeting them? Just curious... I have a hard time (emotionally) writing to tons of women for fear of getting too many hopes up.

I wrote a few letters and then I decided to  just write a general letter telling them I am coming and that I felt meeting in person is much better.  Many replied to me and said they agreed and were happy to meet me when I came to town etc.  So many women receive letters for such a long time from guys who never come.  Also, many have found that they write letters for months and when they come there is no chemistry within the first five minutes.  So, I really feel it is best to let them know about you, ideally find out a little about them, and just meet alot of girls.  Some girls look better than their photos, others look as good as their photos and yet others look worse than their photos.  How they move, how they interact with you can not be measured in a photograph.

Glad to have you back home safe and sound hockey guy.

Looks like you had a pretty good trip and looking forward to speaking to you about everything. As plans are now I will be taking a group of guys to Tver on June 29th as part of our Summer 2004 WhiteNights tour. In St. Pete on June 23rd, Tver on the 29th, Moscow July 3rd. Yaroslav is a good guy.

Definitely will be a good time for all.  Perhaps you may want to include Ivanovo in that tour as well?  Just a thought since St. Petersburg and Moscow - although excellent tourist designations may not have enough of the sincere girls we are all interested in.  Another alternative would be Nizny Novogod.

Ivanovo is where Marc is going, right?  He has kept me somewhat in the loop with his plans. I am excited about this prospect and will wait for Marc to get everything lined up. If he is in good shape by next fall, maybe we go to the golden rings (I think that is what the area is called). I'm not sure Marc will have everything lined up by the spring time or I would certaintly consider it.

Did you have any contact with the agency Lifetime Partners? I understand they are good also. Others have said the Tver is fished out so to speak. I have never been there so I could not comment.

Tver the city is not fished out.  In late 2000 and early 2001 I was a client with LTP.  I found the shelves of that agency very bare.  They had a fundamental problem recruiting new girls - which was not addressed by an ownership change - which in fact only brought on more problems.  The new owner refused to honor agreements with past clients for discounted trips on subseqent visits after they paid high fees to join the "program."  LTP was in effect the only game in town.  So, when I said that Tver was fished out I really mean't LTP was fished out.  The new agency in town Behappy2day has gone all out to recruit new girls.  When I was last there three days ago, they had more than enough quality girls in their program who were real and I am certain continue to make an effort to recruit sincere girls interested in foreigners.  The key for their program now is the ability to recruit guys so the girls in their program do not get discouraged.  They also have the ability to recruit girls from the LTP website if a guy wants to go out with one of those girls as well.  When I went over there were a couple of girls I met from LTP's website that were not on the Behappy2day site.  They talked to the girls in my behalf and the girls met me. It would not have paid for me to pay LTP to meet two girls, but it did pay for me to work with many girls in Behappy2day (I wanted to meet 15 from their program and two from LTP) and see the couple I wanted to meet in LTP's program.

I'm interested in hearing anything anyone has to say about Lifetime Partners.  Their US office is literally about one mile from my house and I pass it every day on the way to work... so I am curious about them...

LTP still has a very professional, excellent staff in Tver.  They have a fundamental problem recruiting quality girls.  They follow the lead of a US owner I feel has seriously mismanaged them - which is unfortunate.  The US operation is in disarray.  I suspect the office in California may close soon.  My recommendation is to look at their website or go into their office and see what girls you are interested in are available (that means find exactly which girls are pictures and which ones really exist in town right now).  Chances are the numbers will be very small.  Then, give their names to Behappy2day, find other girls on the Behappy2day site and use their services (virtually the same as LTP) to meet the LTP girls you are interested in as well as the Behappy2day girls.

How long has Be Happy been in business?  I have never heard of them until a couple of days ago on this thread.

I am not sure.  Ask Yaroslav when you write Behappy.  I first started seeing them about the first of this past year.
