Plane Ticket Suggestions

I posted a request for vacation ideas a couple of weeks ago and got some good suggestions regarding potential vacation destinations with my Ukrainian girlfriend. I ended up deciding on the Dominican Republic.

The fares that I've been seeing from Kiev or Moscow to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic have been in the $1,350 range for February 2004 travel.

I had heard that it was possible to save money by purchasing the ticket through a Russian or Ukrainian travel agency. She went to one, and they were giving her the same price that I found on the Internet.

Does anyone know of an agency over there that could offer a substantial discount on the ticket? Is it even possible to get a major discount by purchasing the ticket over there?

Try TRAVELSELEC.COM That is the lead that I am now receiving, instead of Avantix.ru which I used before.  They seem like they may offer what you wish, with a lot of specials.  You might be able to choose a destination that could save you a lot of money, as they are pushing last minute deals.
