Hi everyone... Just wanted you to know the Polish airline LOT will be added to Star Alliance for frequent flyer miles starting Oct 26. The following airlines are already members of Star Alliance...

Air Canada
Air New Zealand
All Nippon Airways
Asiana
Austrian Air
bmi
Lauda Air
Lufthansa
Mexicana
SAS
Singapore Airlines
Spanair
THAI
Tyrolean Airways
United
VARIG

With such a long flight over there it is easy to build up your frequent flyer miles on these trips. From San Diego to Dnepropetrovsk it is 15,000 miles roundtrip so it adds up fast for me. As you can see some of these airlines all fly to the former FSU.
