Okay, I'm going to irritate you guys with all these questions on getting the visa.  But I'm trying to file the I-129F and it calls for me to submit the G-325A for myself and one for my fiancee'.  Will I have to send her the form and have her sign it and send it back or will the letter of intent to marry suffice?  I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one but just want to get you guy's insight anyway.

I sent it to her via FedEx.  The whole thing took a little more than a week.  Wish I had done Ray's idea, it would have saved a couple of bucks.

FedEx worked great for sending her stuff in a timely manner.  It usually got to her in 3 to 5 days.

LOL!

Yeah dennis, this stuff can drive you nuts, but it really isn't that hard once you get the hang of it.

There is a way to save yourself some time and money if you don’t have her G-325A yet. Have her download and print a copy of the G-325A from the INS Web site. Then have her make 4-5 Xerox copies of the form on plain white paper. Have her fill out one sheet, then make 4 more Xerox copies of the completed form. Have her sign and date 4 completed forms and put her signature only on 4 blank forms. Getting confused by now? Bear with me (not you Art!).

Now have her send you the 4 signed and dated completed copies and the 4 signed blank copies. She should keep one copy for later reference. When you receive them, check them over carefully and if they are O.K., send in the 4 completed pages with your application. If she made any mistakes that cannot be corrected easily, then you can always type up (or print) the correct info and date on the 4 signed blank forms and send those in.

That should save you some time by not having to mail her the blank forms. To be safe, you should submit 4 pages of each G-325A with original signatures on each page. They don’t seem to mind at all if they are Xerox copies on plain white paper.

Have fun,

Ray
