Last time I looked, the G325A was downloadable from the BCIS site, so the cost of following the instructions exactly is fairly low. You can get her to fill one out, but also get her to sign an extra blank one in case you need to revise/rewrite it after reviewing all of the questions/instructions.
BTW, I think the "do exactly what the instructions say" philosophy applies to filling out the forms as well. If you don't know where her birth mother lives, say "unknown--last seen xx years ago". If you have never been married before, don't put N/A under a question about former spouses, write "none".
