Charges have been formally dismissed!!! Now it's her turn :-) We had a saying in the Navy, "Stand by for heavy rolls!" :-)

You know what the scary part of it is? I had so much evidence proving the truth that they really couldn't do anything but dismiss. But I wonder about the guys that walk into the court with his word against hers. The prosecutor in my case wanted to basically go for blood and told my attorney, without knowing anything about the case and without reviewing any of the material evidence, that she was going to take the case to trial and go for prison time. Our reply was basically, ok, let's go, it's on! Fortunataly she got her senses about her, with some input from the chief prosecutor and decided maybe she should review the evidence first. She changed her mind afterwards.

I now have a detective assigned to my case against her and that charge should be executed Monday or so. By the way, I was told that so long as I had charges pending against me I couldn't charge her. As of Wednesday, her protection is up. I'm going to have her charged with three counts of family assult, 1 count of falsifying police records, 1 count of false imprisonment and a few counts of purjury. If you read the INA, family assult is a deportable offense. I think my EX-wife and her friends failed to read that part :-)
