i just came back too late(15 min, had family imperatives on the phone and moreover i got lost, silly me) at a 2nd meeting with some girl, and basically she wasn't there anymore...since the post office was nearby i thought i would add sth about this topic.
Of course, you won't make your girl pay for anything. But if she expects that and feels it's natural to the point of giving you the cold shoulder for 1 h if you didn't, i'd advise to be very careful.
I was today with my favourite girl(see post below). We went to teh mamaev kurgan(must see in volgograd) and i wasn't feeling very well(had slept quite bad, and if i have days with, this was a day without:)). i thought she would be quite pissed because i wasn't in a really entertaining mood, but she insisted anyway to buy me a souvenir(imho overpriced moreover). The other day as well she was almost vexed because i had paid for everything although she wanted to buy some drinks(of course i didnt let her)
So f *ck the traditions IMHO. Of course don't be a j*rk, but don't let them be too. I have already been with a girl who thought i should pay for everything, but in the end it ended like a nightmare when once i couldn't...
be careful...
