I don't buy rare art either....(well, maybe a few sculptures) cars are my gig.  BTW.......

Right you are....how could I get so wound up over a "TN Goat Roper" and not have a good laugh.  It's just that I've not seen such shi.t for a while.  Plus, after Warren Buffet bought so many double wides, I think I'll buy 10.  Don't you think he'll do well when he brings his FSU hottie here to water the tomatoes?  Talk about a Moe for a card shark.

He should talk to our "super hero...Las Vegas pal...macho tough guy...who marries gals with tatoodles, and can pull my heart out of my chest for insulting him"...who would have much in common!!!

You are the voice of reason here.  You piss people off by telling them of the pitfalls of this endeavour.  Your voice of "reason" seems to fall on deaf ears here.  Funny, when I started over 2 years ago, I thought a 34 year old for a (then) 50 year old, where everything works and nothing hurts, was a dream come true.  Now at 51, I look at a potential "squeeze" as 46.  True, I hope she has Mom's values and virtues...but you never know. I was a "watcher/reader" for a year before I ever had the "gonchas" to post.  Yours were the most informative.  You had met "squeezes" in many places, and, Jimmy from Ukraine said the same, yet many here believe in the "Fairy God Mother."  What gives?  Certainly, people can't be so blind that they can't see the card sharks and visa whores.

Personnaly, I adore my Russian girl, but have been burned before for a great deal, and am therefore cautious.  How others who have been through the same (as you might have been) can't see the same, baffles me.

Even though some consider you a prick, I, for one, thought your diatribes worth heeding.

Keep posting....as someone may still listen.

Like you, I am not needy, but simply look for someone to add to what I have, and buttress that.  When I find this, I will act.

I think yer wrong on one thing: 34 is just fine, I met lots of women in Ukraine who felt that way. I do believe the best ones are older with kids though, nothing like being a mother and ex-wife living in a suck enviornment to cleanse the soul of youthful mischef.

Yup, funny how those who have gone through getting taken can't wait to get into it again. Ever notice how most MOB guys are fairly recently divorced? It's The Power, that and they don't give it enough time to see the alternatives. Trust me, they'll never listen. Until many of them get past the trophy wife thing they'll never learn. As long as there is a pretty face in combination with an insecure and lonely exsitence they'll continue to flock like lemmings to the FSU cliff. (Our boy from TX was a perfect example of that, other than the pretty face ;-)

I've never been taken, was way to young to have anything to lose in my only marriage. Since then it's been a little pain at times but I've never lost a cent. They simply walked away. (Or I did. Funny, I most remember the times I did the hurtin' then than the other way round...must be the softie in me.) Thank God I didn't marry any of them even though they were all Heaven in the begining?...lol, sound familiar?

Everyone sez we never hear about the successes. Well, we don't hear about all the bad ones either. I know of two well known posters here who did everything right and now they're getting raped by the very women they were so sure about. They prefer to keep quiet and I don't blame them because they'll only be told it was their fault in some way...what BS that would be.

Hey, I'm needy too. Believe me, I bleed just like the rest of 'em. But *this* needy? Nope, not yet. And not for what I've seen available versus the risks. Got it too good now anyway. I may keep my hand in it but I've learned way too much to be "russian" back into this game too quickly.

Guys who are really loaded certainly have too much to lose by marrying a FSU lady who they hardly know. It's safer to find a woman who is also wealthy. Common sense. Here's a confession: my fiancee's financial situation beats mine! And of course she knows this. Neither of us is wealthy, BTW.

Although I don't condider myself a rich guy, just a hard worker, I disagree with you and your perception of an FSU squeeze and someone who has more than a goat roper.
