Just thought I'd share some insights.
we went to a Nescafe in kyiv, they're all around the city. We had a mochaccino, a cappucino, and 3 desserts (all good) for about 38 hyrnas. and they are clean but can be filled with smokers. ilked it alot.
Also some retail stores have currency exchanges in them, i found good rates outside of metrograd mall, on Kreshcatyk (sp?)(but not in the mall). There is a small souvenir shop in the metrograd mall (in the corridor across from a bookstore) limited selection and basic but prices are clearly marked and may be more convenient then going to that old road with the church on it (St Andrew's? on adrevsky path?)
