Well, I bumped the date of my departure to Sunday June 8th. Thanks to Jack I got my visa sent off for today. I should get it Friday or Saturday. Anyways I will leave Sunday the 8th & Return on the 18th. I WILL post a trip report this time whether good or bad.
This trip is a REAL chance as I was NOT planning on going after I joined Jennifers' band. But well I guess I am now. I will be staying at a young ladies house with her & her parents so I will get to see what her & her family are like. It will be different for me.
Anyways I thought I'd let you guys know.

Some serenading might come in handy. Best guitar I ever bought was made in Valencia,Spain. Can't remember the name of the small workshop but the guy said he sold a few guitars to the Gypsy Kings. Good Luck on your trip and with your girl.

American Airlines destroyed my BC Rick case on the first leg of the tour. It literally came out with 2 HOLES right through it!!!! Luckity they missed the headstock by LESS than an inch the other missed the horn (strat shape). 1 hinge also came off. I don't know WHAT they were doing with it or WHAT caused those holes but it had to be VERY heavy in order to go right through! Scary for us with expensive equipment that is no longer being made.

Some things should not go in checked baggage!  I once flew on a flight where someone had bought a seat for her cello.

Being a dog owner, I've heard too many horror stories about pets on planes. I once saw a dog sitting on the tarmac during a snow storm.
