(I'm posting this for MARTY)

Subject:  Bringing the in-laws over.

Going to try to bring Sister and Momma over for a
visit in Aug.  Sister has passport, Momma waited until
now to start process.  Told up front it'll cost about
$300US to grease the wheels (otherwise it'll take over
a year to process).  However, THEY ARE OUT OF PASSPORT
APPLICATION FORMS.  So even though they'd like to make
some easy money they have to wait until the forms come
in.  So I imagine this applies not only to family but
also to any of your ladies wishing to come over.  This
is in the Donetsk region.  Anybody got any ideas?
Seems to me they should be able to go to Kiev and
apply for a passport but maybe not.  Could we at least
get the forms mailed from Kiev and then turn in at
Donetsk?  Is Kiev out of forms too?  Is there a single
govt worker who works without being bribed?

I've already contacted my congressmen for a referal
letter to help the visas along.  Anything else?

Advice welcome and thanks in advance.

Maybe they were out of motivation to
find the forms.  How much motivation
is standard for the form finder?  $5?

The more somebody pays, the faster they can get the passport...in one day even.
PS...the same goes with visas.
