Has anyone found a good price to Kiev for late june-early July trip?  I'm used to the prices coming down about 10 weeks from before the date of the trip but it doesn't seem to be happening. Is $950 a good price for the "high" season?

Thanks.  Gman

Just back from Kiev. Call Economy Travel at 1-800-222-2110. They were about $150 less then any other ticket I could find and good service.

best place i've found to get tickets is russiahouse.net
they seem to have the cheapest fares, i've used them 2 times without any problems.

I found and booked the fare on Orbitz, on Northwest/KLM with a code share on Ukraine international for the last leg.  It's the itinerary i've taken twice before, but i paid $636 in december and $650 in March, so the high season was giving me sticker shock.

Thanks for the input guys,

Gman

That sounds like a great price (about what I paid for my wife's tickets to travel last month) unless they are on Aeroflot. Of course you have to figure in connections, overstays, and the potential for lost baggage.

$950 for economy class airfare in June/July from the US to Kyiv is a very good fair - IF it is on an airline where you will earn points.

By that I mean - Czech Airlines is now partnered with Delta, so miles flown on Czech into Kyiv will be credited toward your Delta SkyMiles account.

If, OTOH, your $950 fare is on LOT Polish, it may not be quite so atractive.

Still, I doubt you'll be able to get any lower airfare for those dates of travel.
