I guess that was quite a adjustment for her, living in the sticks.

Has she master driving yet?  If not, you might look at the bus schedule in Sacremento...

Has anyone, here ever ridden one of those buses in Kiev where from the outside it looks like everyone is nuts to butts packed in there!

I have. It was not my most memorable experience in Odessa. The smell and the crowdedness. At the time Katia just did not understand why pay the extra $1 to take a taxi.

I did not mind, as it was a way for me to experience a little bit more of Ukraine, even if it was not the most pleasant experience.

She now has a little better understanding of what I think is a good value.

Also she is not a clean freak. More clean minded than myself, but does not go 'overboard'.
