Great news! The Childrens Hospital in SLC has great people.I lived for 11 years next to the original hospital and my neighbor Rick was and still is working for them as a nurse.I would highly recommend them to anyone.Glad to see and feel you and your wife's joy.I said a prayer for all of you.

There are surely days that make it very worth while
to come to this forum.  Today is really one of them.
Hooray for the kid and simply thinking about the reliefs
the parents must feel.  Makes me feel good.
From now on it is full steam ahead.
No looking back.

Wife and son should feel very lucky with what has happened in there life's over the past year.

If you do not meet Aloyna, if she remains in Ukraine, guess what goes un-noticed for what,.....a few years?  And what would have happened then?  Both wife and son have one person to thank for making them take an extended check-up and for this being discovered when it was.

Hopefully you can enjoy being a newlywed again.

Happy to hear that this was not as serious as it first seemed to be , and that your son is OK .

I know that this was quite an ordeal for your family . We must make the best of whatever hand we are dealt in our lives . Sometimes it takes an event like this to make us stop and think about how short life really is ; and how precious it really is . About what things in life are important ; what really matters and what doesn't . Sometimes it takes something like this to give us a sense of appreciation for all the simple day-to-day things in our lives we had previously taken for granted .

Perhaps months from now when this is all behind you , you may look back on these days and see how this has brought your family even closer together . I think that you and your loved ones will have a closeness and strength that few of us will ever enjoy . Your family is now one entity ; cemented and welded together through this ordeal . The emotional bonds forged in the fires of adversity are the strongest ones of all .......

Wishing only the best for you and yours ,

Don
