...a lot sooner than October!

NSC's latest status report says 30 days for an I-129. Now don't screw around with the paperwork on her end and think she has until October to finish everything :-)

WOW Feb,

Texas sure is slow...I sent the petition on March 15, 2001 (3 days before your hubby) and didn't get the 2nd NOA until June 22, 2001. 99 days...fast for Texas. You were probably waiting for your Visa to arrive by then. My wife was getting a bit tired of people asking her what was taking so long...she stopped explaining about the TSC and let them think what they wanted. The main thing was that everything went smoothly and she finally made it by September. :oD

Hi Hum,

That's great! October seems reasonable...you're not dealing with Texas.

Good Luck!

Hum:

I would think that she could make it by November.

I filed Tess' petition on 6-6-00.  She received her letter from manila on 9-9-00.  She was interview in october, and arrived in Los Angeles on 11-13-00.

I think you're in good shape.

I just got off the phone talking with Tess.

Tess left for the Phils on 3-18-02.  She stayed with her friends a few days in Manila and then took a boat down to Butuan City with her sister and family.  She will wait for me there.

I will fly to the Phils on 4-5-02.  I'm looking forward to being with Tess.

Tess booked a 4 day-3 night trip to Hong Kong for us...so I'm also looking forward to that.

We will return together on 4-22-02.

I'm very much looking forward to this trip.

Hi Stephen,

That Butuan City airport is fun. Don't become alarmed when the plane suddenly nosedives from 32000 feet. I thought that we were going down in a field. =8oO Exit out the back of the plane or else you will stand there for quite a while, as people climb up on the seats to reach their possesions in the overhead compartments. Then the bags and balakbayan boxes get passed back and forth overhead. Three things that I've noticed. 1. Filipinos are in a hurry to get on the plane, but not to get off 2. No one puts their belongings above their own seat. 3. All balakbayan boxes look the same on the outside (and probably the inside too). ;o)))  Have a great trip! In Butuan City, check out the Balanghai boat and the Regional Museum. Eat chicken and atsara at Weegols. Tell Tess that Marife and I said hi.
