Fox has a new reality series where they have two complete strangers get married and then see what happens.  This sounds "old hat" to me after some of the stories here.

We sent individual invitations notorized and by mail to the mother and father-in- law and they received them.I wrote on them in English and the wife translated on below in Russian, To Whom It May Concern...giving our names, relationship to,requesting they be given necessary paperworks and documents allowing them to travel to us for a visit and that we would pay all related expenses for everything including travel, food, accomodations and travel while here any medical potential problems that could possibly arise, gave them my business license numbers (short of tax-returns)the wife and I's SS#'s and address etc.

Question...They are going to first apply for their international passport pages for their passports in the village goverment bldg. they live in.They are a little unsure about the process of applying for a foreign visa to USA.Where do they apply for a visa with this letter we sent to them??? In person or by mail??? To the nearest USA Consular or USA Embassy to them??? I hate to think they would need to travel 2and 1/2 hours flight to Moscow for processing...

Rick,
Sounds like you wrote one heck of a letter! LOL.
My in laws went to the embassy on Moscow.  However, Lena says that a lot of travel agencies in Russia will supply the visa application form for free and will deliver it to the embassy in Moscow for a small charge.  There still is the question of weather they have to go to Moscow for the interview.  I don't have an answer for that, but maybe a travel agency in Russia will.  Good luck.

Jski,

I am new here. And new to this whole idea. Additonally, I can be described as a computer moron. And if John Nash can be described as someone with a beautiful mind...then I will remain as the one with a simple mind.....although one with good outlook, and a good heart.

Now with that intro out of the way...Id just like to say that I enjoyed and was encouraged by your recent trip report. Can you tell me how I can view the pictures that went with your report? Thanks.

Randy

Copy and paste the address in the message to the Address line in your browser and hit ENTER.  Then click on the picture on the first page (Toma's picture) and it will take you to the rest of the album.

I think the trip report has rolled off to the first archive page now (212?)

Thanks, it helps to know it was encouraging for someone....

Trip reports are ALWAYS appreciated.

For every one who says something, a hundred more were reading it and loving it.
