Hi Everyone:

I came back a few days ago from my fourth trip to Ukraine. (I am the one who drove around half of Ukraine last summer on trip number three.) I originally went over to see one woman. Things gelled between us and have gotten gradually better and better ever since. At first we had to converse in French, but now she speaks good English. Two years have passed since we first met. The more I learn about her (man, it took a lot of time and effort!), the more I realize how I lucked out; she has tremendous values. I can't help but love this woman. She has been very wary of leaving her family and country, but now it seems she has finally been won over on this and so we have started the paperwork. I hope she'll be here at the end of the summer or early fall. We will see what happens-- there's a long, long way to go...

The best part of this last trip was going to Budapest, Hungary. We spent a week there, seeing all the main sites (royal palace, parliament building, various art museums, modern aquarium, opera house, etc.). We had a great time and I recommend it. To enter Hungary, a Ukrainian lady needs to buy health insurance for herself (about $5) and give her a copy of the hotel reservations (although I don't think the officials looked at either). Americans need no visa-- just the passport. (I never encountered such a friendly customs officer.) There is quite a lot to do there over a week.

Well one thing - you know she is not a green card scammer. I hope she is able to make the transition to a new life in a new world ok. From what you say about her, I could not help but get an impression that she could have some challenges. Some it seems adjust better than others.

Good luck to you both - congrats

another good thing - LP rarely gives praise Smiley

Jack would be proud! Smiley
You may want to put up a trip report for the newbies who see the pie in the sky and also the ones who hear nothing but "whorer" stories-pun intended.
Good luck

I love to see a guy who has put forth the time and effort you seem to have and come out successful.  It sounds like you have done your homework and really found someone nice..

Well done... ;-)

If you will be needing any help with the K1, there will be more than a few who will be ready lend a hand..

Don't you have some "god-fearing" decent, married volk to insult today?

Oops... you've done that, al..

You garner joy, in insulting married females.

Deeply sorry, I forgot...

Babble on, RED...

....post of your's I could make sense outta.

I insult everyone who insults me, married or not, female or not. Take a lesson from it, the difference is nonexistant. Women are people too, not special beings to be worshiped. They can be as foul as any man, fouler in fact. Once thats realized there is no need to look for a "special" one....because they don't exist. Many MOB guys have lost site of that, it's why they're involved in this.

And fwiw, I take no pleasure in the demise of another man....or woman.
