QUESTION FOR BEAR...

I just read your respond on my post about the K3 visa after the medical at st. luke's. well, i do not have any divorce issues nor does my wife. i know that you went through a K1 process, but when you said that there was this lady who got her visa right away...was it K3 or K1? my wife already finished her medical last week. i guess i am just very anxious to see her here in Chicago. do you know of anyone who went through K3 process?

Mary324 got her visa immediately after passing the physical.  I think not more than 7 days.  Honey's was different because she needed my divorce papers which St. Lukes refused.  This caused a 4 week delay.  Another guy didn't have his wife put in papers for her children and that caused a 6 week delay.  If all your papers are in order it will happen pretty quick.

Hi! This is Bear's Honey. I've seen your post for him so I thought I'd read it. I actually came here on a K-3 visa and not K-1. I have a friend from Mag-Anak who also came here with a K-3. I got here last December and when I went through Immigration at San Francisco, the officers told me I was the first to have the K-3 there. Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know. I'm sure Bear will post more when he gets home.

I see...i thought you had K1. anyways, my questions then apply to your case. my wife already finished her medical last week, and i just would like to know the timeframe of her visa wait. how long did you have to wait for your K3 visa after your medical? i know for sure that there's no interview and my wife and i have no previous marriages issues or something like that.
