I will be going to Cebu soon to go with my fience to St Luke's and then wait for her visa. When we come back to the US at the POE there is usually two lines for going through customs. One for US citizens and one for foriners. Can I go through the line with her? Can I go with her through the INS portion where they check her papers?

People traveling with US citizens together can generally pass through the US citizen line. My wife does with me all the time, however she has a green card. Not sure about K1 visas, but I wouldn't hesitate to try. If you're not supposed to, I'm sure they'd let you anyway and tell you to wait in the long line next time.

Chuck,
I was able to stay in line with my wife (then fiance) at the POE. (Detroit) That was 4 years ago, doubt they changed that, we have been out of the country several times since then and they never questioned my going through immigration with her, one thing to keep in mind is they don't like you answering questions on her behalf. I was told that they were not asking me for a response but my wife! I learned to keep my mouth shut unless spoken too! LOL

Good Luck & God Bless
