Ok I said I would provide a detailed Trip Report..

Were do I start...
Hmmm...

Well after flying for 16 hours on Cathay to HonG Kong...
Only to find I had missed the connecting flight...
They graciously offered to shuttle me threw manilla then to Cebu..
And my luggage would arrive the following Day ..
I graciosly declined and So forth I stayed courtesy of them the night ..
This left me in a situation of that it was already 10am and my flight was due in Cebu at 1030am..meaning Tina was already there waiting for me to step off the plane ..
Know what do I do ..

Well time explore making a payphone call..
Ughhh whats this Talk Talk crap..
well finally made call to Tinas Aunt Albinas House and reached
one of her  cousins who went to Airport and informed her I would be in the following morning..same time..

Whew !!! I wasnt even there yet and I was exhausted..
A good night sleep would be welcomed ..
Plus a friend I met on the plane from Vietnam and I had a couple drinks and the bill was $27 dollars and that really steered me to bed..lol

Up and off to airport next morning and i am feeling the excitement as it flowed thru my vains..I had a window seat and was able to see the nice view as we flew into Mactan Airport..
Holly smokes I thought i was just in a rush to see a movie star..
Evryone plows into the 2 immigration lines that are open and I luck out as they are just opening a 3rd and I am 4th in line..

Wow! I cant believ how nauseus I feel as for I know on the other side of those glass doors is my beutiful Tina waiting for me..

Well thru customs and I grab $100 coverted to 5050 pesas at the quicky bank..
And out the door I went and got bombarded with Porters (avoid these porters always)and all of a sudden I heard my name as these porters are gabbing in my ears.. It was Tina calling me and coming towards me with her family I could feel the blood and all the excitement rushing threw me..I felt quite overwelmed..
All I wanted to do was hug Tina and she wasnt in my grasp and then I stopped everthig and walked over to her and she was somewhat shy that first moment and then smiled and all of a sudden I recieved the hug I had so longed and dreamed about...

Well they had a taxi waiting and Mark Anthony her cousin had my bags
in and I didnt even lift a hand I was stunned and engulfed with Tina
It was so HOT and in the TaxiVan she fanned me until we got to the Diplomat Hotel a 30-40 minute drive...

I checked in and the family said bye ..
I felt funny inside here I am with with this beautiful girl ..
I hadnt as of yet made the connection that we had been making threw our email/phne/letters...

I wondered when i would see and feel the girl I loved ..
When the 1 + 1 would come together and I would know Tina..
What a strange feeling ..
Here was Tina but I felt as if I did not know this person..
"YET"

Ok I am not sure from some of the previous responses if I should
continue with my story
But I will for the benifit of those that find it useful..

Look for part 2 in a little while..

Mark,

PLEASE, by all means, continue your trip report. It can be helpful to some, I'm sure, and interesting reading to boot. You said down below that you like critisism. Good, I hope you do. Here's some from me. I can't hold my tounge (finger's) anymore.

Good God, man!! Get a grip!! You don't even know this girl and she is 17. I know, I know, age doesn't matter. Well, B.S.! It does! Especially when dealing with Filipina's.

Many first timer's to the Philippines are awstuck at the "maturity" of the very young women they meet there, when they compare them to the typical 17 yr. old American. Because they come from much worse economical condition's usually, the Filipina tend's to think more about grown up subject's. They do, but like any young person they know squat about love and relationships. She is equaly as mature as your 17 yr. old sister in that way. If not less. For you to think that because she is a Filipina, that it would be different than marrying a 17 yr. old American, your wrong. Typical first time traveler mistake. Would you marry an American of the same age?? I doubt it. Most of the Fil/Am marriages I see fail are when the guy marries a girl 21 or younger. The girls just can't seem to handle it. This is not all, but most. About 98% in my experience, and I've seen many.

Also, you just met. There is no getting around that. How can you possibly KNOW her??

You seem like a good guy, Mark. I have alot of respect for the nursing profession and anyone who was Airborne. That SHOULD make you a mature, well rounded guy. However, reading your post's you come off sounding desperate and loopy, like you been raiding the medicine chest at the hospital. Although, I must say, that jizz you sent her above, makes your relationship maturity level seem about 17 as well. My 17 yr. old stepdaughter would have LOVED it. So maybe you are compatable. Not saying you are this way, just that's how it comes off over a computer.

Believe it or not, I wish you the best. Personally though, I think your a can short of a six pack. When I lived in Texas, I met alot of 30 something year old corn fed guys married to teeenager's. Couldn't understand why. Thier marriages never worked out either.

Well, it's your life. Nothing say's it can't work. Nothing anyone says is gonna stop ya. I just had to say what I think. You might want to think a bit more about what Howard and Ray were saying about messing up HER life. It might. You better think about that. At least give this thing some thought.

That said, all the best to you.
