Ii have a flight for me and my fiancee to come from poland to the usa. I could not get a direct flight with all of us on it. Here is my ? we have to change planes in copenhagen does she need a visa.  I spoke to denmark embassy here in the us and they said that as long as she did not leave the security area a visa was not needed. Does anyone have any info on this

I haven't been through copenhagen, but have been through Austria.  I'm pretty sure that waht they told you is correct.  Unless you want to do some sightseeing during a very long layover, it shouldn't be a problem.

Delta Airlines has a good visa information finder tool on their website.  It has visa info for most origination and destination countries, as well as connecting country visa info.  You can see it at:

most countries allow you to change planes as long as you stay in the secured area.
