Hi Dave,

It took 4 days (Mindanao) after my wife called and gave them her passport number. They already had her NOA from the TSC.

Thanks. I will tell THI to call the U.S. Consulate and give them her passport number. You're the first person to tell me to do this.

Hi Dave,

I misunderstood. My fiancée (wife) received a telegram from the US Embassy in Manila first, with a number to call. When she called and gave them her passport number, it took 4 days to receive her packet.  However, I have heard that some fiancées (Philippines) have gotten their packet before receiving the telegram, by calling the embassy (Manila) and giving them the info on their 2nd NOA and passport number. We were very surprised that my wife’s paperwork reached the Manila Embassy from the TSC in about 2 weeks, by diplomatic pouch. A week later she received the telegram. So fast in fact, that we had plenty of things left to do before she could go to St. Lukes for her physical. I don’t know anything about the US Embassy in Vietnam. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to call and find out why it is taking so long for her telegram or packet to arrive. Perhaps it was sent to the wrong address.

Good Luck!

THanks anyway. At any rate, I will tell her to call and see what is taking so long.
