We are going to the Phils in April for our wedding.  My wife got her green card in Jan and is free to travel.  The only problem is that we never got her name changed in her Pilipino passport, it still reflects her maiden name, we are married for a year and have all documentation.  Any forseeable trouble getting into the PHils?  I know all she needs to get into the US is the green card, I asked the INS.  Thanks for any feedback,

Willy

That will work fine Willy, as long as her passport isn’t expired.

If you two are traveling together, ask Philippine Immigration for Balikbayan status. You can stay up to a year with no visa and can both use duty-free shop, etc. To be eligible for Balikbayan, she must have been out of the Phils for at least one year.

Happy wedding & 2nd honeymoon :-)
