Has anyone dealt with the Embassay in Ekaterinburg, Russia? I am preparing to file for a fiancee Visa for my gal, and I was assuming I would just apply to Moscow.  She tells me that there is one in Ekaterinburg. Can I apply to that one, or is it just a small consulate office that does not offer the full visa process? Thanks.

Philb: Thanks for the link. Can you please look at this link page again and tell me your thoughts?  If you go down a page or 2, there is a new section (green highlight( that now says one can apply for a visa in Ekaterinburg or Moscow, whichever is more convienent.  Am I reading this incorrectly? Did something change? Thanks.

It is sayingthat you can apply for a non immigrant visa in Ekaterinburg.  They do not issue any immigrant visas.  Typical clear and concise government speak.
