I don't know...

But I do know from several guys where on warships and pulled into Austrailia, the guys are treated well.  And the women will meet the boat when it pulls up to the dock.

The women actually 'treated' the guys... these aren't hookers, either.  No, monies were exchanged.

The only Austrialian girl that I have known talked like a sailor (Fu%$#@@ this, Fu$#$% that)... after a while it really turns you off.

wsbill
Who are these "Austrailian" women that you speak of? Do you mean AUSTRALIAN?

Your last paragraph, the only "Austrialian" girl I have known ....  wsbill, are you referring to a AUSTRIAN girl with some 'lian' in her? Where the heck do they reside?

Please wsbill, do us all a favour, drop the Russian Pim's course and PLEASE take up English Grammar immediately, your posts are so difficult to understand/read let alone comprehend what you are trying to say or think !

If you are referring to Australian women, then I am staggered at you suggestions, .... "Austrailians MUST be hard on their women". Why would you think like that ? Please give us all an insight into your thought prosesses or lack of it on that statement.Quite frankly, I couldn't give a rat's toss bag what anyone thinks about Australian men and their attitude towrds women, but please, let us in on this little 'secret' that you have.

"These women aren't hookers either, your words. How do you know? You want to know what they really are? This happens all the time with visiting ships, they are WHORES wbsill! Do you know what a whore is, if you dont just ask the board ! These "women" do this same thing worldwide, didnt you know that? They are desperate +++

No monies were exchanged, is that what the sailors told you? Could be right. BUT I will almost gaurantee something was exchanged, more often than not it's called VD. Why would you want to pay for that when you can get it for free, no wonder they don't exchange money as you put it. And you call it a 'treat' !

wsbill, dont go looking for a FSU woman, just stay in your own country, I feel confident you will find millions of women who are prepared to give you a 'treat'.

PLEASE wsbill, get a Pim's course on ENGLISH, because if you dont, imagine the confusion your communication is going to cause with a FSU woman, her trying to teach you Russian and you attempting to demonstrate your 'English'. Now there is a recipe for disaster! Its up to you wsbill.

Before one of the TV programs get hold of you, and wring you out in front of their camera's, do yourself a favour, and the whole MOB process a favour, keep your fingers off the keyboard and just learn! Please dont tell the world about your vast knowledge of the 'worldly women', because you are a bull's eye target for trolls. And who cops it when the trolls arrive, we all do ! Da ? !!

Sincerely
JohnL

I guess if those were whores with those guys when they got off their ship.  The same must be true when every you fly in the Eastern Europe.  Desperate women, looking for a way out...What do you call them?

I noticed that both the marriges mentioned had extremely large age gaps.  That's too bad as it not only paints an unrealistic picture, but it may also pump up more men to seek relationships with a 40 year age gap.  Not the best scenario for a successful marriage IMHO.

I did find the Australian study that found Filipina brides to be six times more likely to be abused than their domestic counterparts interesting.  Has anybody seen the report this was based on?

Patrick, I am sure you work closely with many of your clients. Do you work with clients seeking 40 years, or even 30 years age differnce between them and the ladies?

Very seldom and I try hard to discourage it.  At best they're wasting their time.  What could be even worse is if they somehow succeed in getting married to someone that much younger than themselves.

I know some of these relationships work, but I've seen a few divorces in my day and every one of them has been between men in their 40s and women in their early 20s.  None of the divorces fit into what most greeenhorns think would happen though.  In all cases the women chose to return to their country rather than stay here.  Not quite the "green card sharks" that most men believe are the most likely scenario in these situations.  Just young immature women married to men who bought into the the agency hype about large age differences being so much more common and acceptable in [insert country here].  While they may be more common and acceptable in another country, the couples very seldom live in that country after marriage.

It's a nice fantasy, but I think few men can handle these relationships.  The women want to go out dancing all night long and the men want to stay home.  Some men who take great care of themselves and are fortunate in the genetic department can have the really high energy level and looks to go along with it into their later years, but most do not fall into that category.

One couple I knew split up after the man was no longer able to handle the stigma he felt when he was with his 24 year-old wife around his middle aged yuppie friends.  He was an airline pilot and into the yaught racing crowd.  All very uptight people who no doubt talked behind his back about him.

I agree with much of your same thoughts. It is a nice fantasy, but it is not real life.

There seem to be more Fil/Am couples that can handle that sort of age gap than Latina/AM, or Russian/AM. Asian women seem to be more homebodies than the party all night type. Though, I do know a few Latino/Latina marriages with 20 years or so and they don't seem to have too many difficulties. I agree with you though, it's more fantasy than not, and men would do far better sticking with women in their own general age bracket. There's enough trouble with cultural differences, language differences, and religious differences. You don't need to add maturity differences in the mix. But then again, I know some 60 year old men who have about the same maturity of an 18 year old third world woman.
