When my wife's sister was cooking dried fish in our Phil apt I stayed in the bedroom with the door closed.  The smell was horrible.  About every two minutes someone would enter the room and leave the door open.  I started getting angry so I just locked the door.  The odor was still really intense, wafting in under the door, so I put a towel there.  Problem solved.  After several hours of being locked out of the one room that had TV and aircon no one cooked fried fish again.

Sally,
This will probably get me in trouble here but just a few minutes ago, I smelled somthing strong and unpleasant and was wondering what in the world it was.   By the way, Kim (our baby) was sitting close to me.  I yelled to Melly in the kitchen and asked her if she was cooking something.   It turned out that the smell was Kim's dirty diaper!  LOL  She still let me eat supper anyway.  Smiley
